UKHCA offers Zoom workshops to support providers during pandemic


United Kingdom Homecare Association (UKHCA) has announced a series of new Zoom workshops, available at discounted rates for its members.

The workshops, created to support providers during the COVID-19 crisis, cover a range of topics including medication, infection control, dementia care and end-of-life care.

The organisation will also hold a number of HR workshops to help with recruitment and retention and performance management, as well as sessions on how to grow your business.

In addition to the workshops, UKHCA has produced a series of short free presentations to support members with training during the pandemic.

These include a presentation on how to work effectively as a care coordinator and guides on training staff to support clients at the end of their life; ensuring effective infection control training; training frontline staff to enable medication support; and training from a distance.
