National home care provider Helping Hands has paid tribute to its caregivers in a new video launched to mark Professional Care Workers Week.
The short film (below) includes photographs and clips of carers supporting their customers, as well as receiving their Moments of Kindness awards.
Group managing director Karyn MacKenzie said: “I’m delighted to be celebrating our amazing carers this week. Our carers are the backbone of this company, and after the incredible work that they have done throughout the pandemic, it’s more important than ever to celebrate them.”
She continued: “I’m really proud of our carers and the exceptional work they do for our customers every day. Every single member of our Helping Hands team embodies the foundation of our company: kindness. We appreciate them so much, and this video is just a small token of our gratitude to them.”
Commenting on her role, Helpings Hands carer Vicky Graham-Stevenson said: “I have worked for Helping Hands for nearly a year now and I can honestly say they are the best care company to work for. You are made to feel welcome from the day you have your interview and every day thereafter. If you are looking for a career in care come and join our family, I promise you won’t regret it!”
