The South Wales Chamber of Commerce Welsh Business Awards aim to recognise the achievements of businesses of all sizes that are playing a fundamental role in driving the Welsh economy forward.

They celebrate excellence in best practice and the contribution Welsh businesses are making to the wider community.

Right at Home Cardiff & Newport currently supports more than 225 clients and employs a team of 170 carers.

As well as services such as home help and personal care, the care provider supports clients in getting out and about in the community and pursue activities and hobbies.

The team has been recognised for its commitment to the local community and going the extra mile to be inclusive and all-encompassing.

Examples of this commitment include a calendar of carer and family events over the course of the year. The office also produces and distributes regular newsletters for clients and carers; shares ‘Monthly Magic Moments’ to showcase the work done in the community and recognise carers’ achievements; and holds annual ‘CareGiver’ awards to recognise outstanding practice.

Joe Guishard, managing director and Owner of Right at Home Cardiff & Newport said: “We are absolutely committed to making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable adults and the elderly living in our local communities. These awards give us the opportunity to shine a spotlight on our fantastic team of CareGivers and celebrate their hard work and dedication to providing the highest quality care and support to our Clients.”

The winners will be announced at a black tie gala dinner hosted by TV presenter Gethin Jones on February 21 at City Hall in Cardiff.
